Candied Walnuts Recipe

Treat your guests to a tasty and healthy blend of Honey Roasted Walnuts. These are the perfect snack for those mid-day cravings. They taste splendid and add flavour when used as garnishing over desserts, such as ice creams, puddings and cakes. With no artificial preservatives added when you make them yourself, these walnuts score low on calories, and high on health.

I make these at least every month and add them to my spinach salad, raisin, apple, feta salads. They are the best addition to any salad or snack. I also substitute cinnamon for cayenne for an even more interesting taste. Or just snack on them. try adding some crisp bacon to the mix, yummy! Sweet and spicy - a great quick snack. Best to keep in an airtight container for about a week at room temp.
